While looking at some brads covered by using the "I Top" it reminded me of covering buttons for sewing. I went looking through my sewing stash and found a kit to cover buttons with cloth. I thought if you can use cloth, why not paper.... and it worked !!! I am happy with the results. CLICK ON THE PICTURE TO SEE MORE DETAIL!

This is how I did it.On my card I used a button that I covered for the turtles shell. The button is the largest size, 2"
On the back of the button covering kit are patterns for the correct size to cut paper/cloth. I stamped my paper before cutting. I copied the template off the back of the kit onto acetate and used the pattern to cut my paper. The picture to the right shows the button kit, the template and the stamped image I made for the Turtle shell.
The picture to the left shows the depth or the dimension of the turtle's shell. Once I had the button covered I used UTEE to cover the shell and to protect it.
As shown in the picture to the right, I made some cuts into the circle so the paper would fold properly. I followed the directions on the back of the package and covered my button.
The stamp on the button says "The only way to have a friend is to be one". So on my card the turtle is being a friend to the duck by giving it a ride, and the duck is giving the butterfly a ride. The turtle is cut from Paisley cut @ 2 1/4" The duck is from EDPD cut @ 1 1/4.
